When should my new car receive a major service?
Every car under warranty, has its manufacturer-stipulated intervals for minor and major car services. Refer to your manufacturer’s warranty guide for specific servicing details. When you service your car at the C-Net Car Service Centre, we will make sure your service manual is stamped to ensure your warranty is valid.
When should out-of-warranty cars be serviced?
Generally an out-of-warranty vehicle should be serviced every two years. Older cars may need parts replacements or repairs at any time. If your vehicle is sluggish, smoking, overheating, rattling or making a noise have your car checked by us.
What may cause my vehicle's engine to seize?
Engine seizing (or gasket failure) is normally caused by overheating due to lack of water and/or oil (Leaks), but can also be caused by a broken timing/cam belt or parts inside the engine failing. Always ensure your water pump is working efficiently and that your oil/water levels are correct. To avoid engine failure, check for oil/water leaks and have your engine belts checked regularly and replaced if necessary by C-Net.
How will I know if something in my car is about to break?
